Get your white rice ready - Soak rice for minimum 10 mins,cook it for 2 whistles in medium flame after first whistle.( I used 1: 1& ½ , rice : water ratio)
Extract tamarind juice from tamarind
Cut Thondekai (Ivy gourd) as per your size and shape
Add 50ml Oil to Iron pad and fry Thondekai (Ivy gourd) for 10 min in low flame
Add Tamarind Juice and let boil for 10 min
Add Jaggery and fry for 5 min
Add 3/4 cup of Rasam Powder and fry for 10 more min until oil comes out
Add Dry Coconut Powder
Add ChanaDal Powder
Add Urad Dal Powder
Thondekai (Ivy gourd) Bath is ready to mix with Hot Rice.
