- Ingredients:
- 3 Cup Bread Flour
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1/2 Sugar
- 1 1/2 Instant Yeast
- 1/2 Water
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Fine Semolina
- White / Black Sesame Seeds
- Directions:
- In a small bowl mix warm milk, Sugar, yeast and leave for 15 min it activate yeast
- In a large bowl mix flour, salt, activated yeast and water
- Gently nudge the dough for 10-15 and add butter in between, Get dough into a round shape, sprinkle olive oil and cover it for 90-120 min
- Dough should be doubled the size, Dust your counter with flour and scrape the dough out of the bowl and gently nudge the dough for 2 min
- Cut the dough into 4 pieces
- Take the dough (if it sticks, apply more flour to your hands) and form a baguette shape. Place it on a baking sheet and sprinkle a generous amount of flour on it. Cover it with a towel. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 min.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds before baking
- Preheat the oven to 250 °C for 20 min (until golden crispy brown). You will need to have 2 tray in an oven. Change the position of the tray after 10 min.
