Equipment

Materials

  • ½ CUP Toor Dal
  • 400 Ml WaterMelon Juice I used ⅓ medium size watermelon
  • 1 Lemon Size Kokum / Tamarind ( Soak In 1 Cup of Water for 10 min)
  • tbsp GowdaKitchen Rasam Power https://gowdakitchen.com/rasam-powder/
  • 10 pcs Curry Leaves
  • ¼ Cup Coriander Leave
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • ¼ tbsp Hing
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Cup Water if necessary
  • 2 Pcs Dry Red Chilli

Instructions

  • Add ½ Cup Toor Dal ,1½ Cup Water to Pressure Cooker
  • Off the Pressure Cooker after 1 Whistle
  • Blend Dal and Boil it for 5 mIn
  • Squeeze 1 cup of water with Kokam
  • Add Kokam Juice to Blended Dal
  • After 5 min add 400ML WaterMelon Juice
  • Let it Boil for 10 Min
  • Add 2½ Tbsp Rasam Powder ( Gowda Kitchen Special )
  • Let it Boil for 10 Min
  • Add 1 Tbsp of Salt
  • Prepare Tadka
    * Heat 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
    * Add Mustard Seeds
    * Curry Leaves
    * Hing
    * Add Dry Red Chilli
  • Add Tadka to WaterMelon Rasam and Garnish with Coriander Leaves

Notes

This is special recipe replacement for tomato and use water melon juice
