Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves packed
  • ½ cup walnuts lightly toasted for extra flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil adjust as needed
  • 2 tsp lemon juice optional, for brightness
  • 2 Pinch Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Toast the walnuts for more taste :Heat a small pan over medium heat and toast the walnuts for 3–5 minutes until fragrant. Let cool.
  • Blend:In a food processor or blender, combine basil, walnuts, garlic, and Parmesan. Pulse until finely chopped.
  • Add oil: While blending, slowly drizzle in olive oil until smooth and creamy.
  • Season: Add lemon juice (if using), salt, and pepper. Adjust taste to your liking.
  • Store: Transfer to a jar, cover with a thin layer of olive oil, and refrigerate. Keeps for up to a week.
