Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Toor Dal
  • 2 PCs Tomato
  • 1 Lemon Size Kokum / Tamarind ( Soak In 3 Cup of Water for 10 min) The simple kokum fruit has a wonderful health benefit of easing your anxiety, calming your mind and uplifting your mood when you are feeling low. Consuming kokum helps increase the level of serotonin in your body; the mood-enhancing hormone which is responsible for making you feel positive and cheerful.

  • 10 Pcs Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 Cup Coriander Leave
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tbsp Hing
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 6 Cup Water
  • 1/2 tbsp Jaggery
  • 2 Pcs Dry Red Chilli

Instructions

  • Add 1 Cup Toor Dal , 2 Tomato and 3 Cup Water to Pressure Cooker
  • Off the Pressure Cooker after 1 Whistle
  • Blend Dal and Boiled Tomato.
  • Squeeze 3 cup of water with Kokam
  • Add Kokam Juice to Blended Dal
  • Let it Boil for 10 Min
  • Add ½ Tbsp Jaggery to boiling Dal Mix
  • Add 2½ Tbsp Rasam Powder ( Gowda Kitchen Special )
  • Let it Boil for 10 Min
  • Add 1 Tbsp of Salt
  • Prepare Tadka
    * Heat 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
    * Add Mustard Seeds
    * Curry Leaves
    * Hing
    * Add Dry Red Chilli
  • Add Tadka to Rasam and Garnish with Coriander Leaves
